Hey all you campers. Thanks for worshipping with us this week. It’s been a great week. If you are a worship leader and want to use any of the songs we did this week, the charts are on the Resources page at the bottom under Summer Worship (2012). If you want to find the songs to listen to, you can head to iTunes or your local Christian bookstore and look for these CDs.
God Undefeatable, Love Shines Austin Stone Live
Song of Moses Unhindered – Unhindered
10,000 Reasons Matt Redman – 10,000 Reasons
God Undefeatable, You Are Good Todd Agnew – How To Be Loved
Unfortunately, my friend Chris Collins and I wrote New Every Morning last week before we came to camp. So it’s not available anywhere. But I posted the chart and you’re welcome to sing it wherever you want to.
Most of the rest of the songs are commonly used, and you probably already have them, or can find them easily.
The Stand, Mighty To Save – Hillsong
Our God, Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) – Chris Tomlin
How He Loves – John Mark McMillan
Again, thanks for worshipping with us. We’d love to hear about your camp experience. Comment below and let us know what God did in your life this week. See you next summer.
Todd, Brian, Rob, and Jody
I just wanted to say Thank you for coming to Student Life camp in Durango this weekend. I love the worship. As we walked back to our dorms everynight or walking to breakfast or even this morning walking to our bus, we were singing the songs. Thank you again. Save Travels and God Bless You.
Thanks for the chord links and thanks for a life changing
worship godbless you
Thank You so much for going to Camp! I was changed forever, and The Stand is my favorite worship song and I was praying that, you would sing it and when you sang it I was brought to tears! Thank You sooooooooooooooooo much!!!God Bless!
I loved singing with you guys this past week in Durango!
I was from the church group that clapped after anyone said “amen”. We’re sorry it was confusing and distracting. We never meant for it to be like that.
We couldn’t fully explain this when you asked us, but we do it to represent unity and agreement with the person praying.
In the past people have joined with us in “the clap”, but this year we found that it became a hindrance to others and decided to lay it to rest as long as we were in the Worship Center with everyone else. As people asked us why we found it necessary to do this our Youth Minister used it as a lesson in choosing our battles and being humble.
Thank you for helping us in this lesson, I was going into camp hoping to become less self centered and having to take away the beloved clap that I’ve been trained to do since 5th grade really helped with that. I also loved the music you played and was able to further my walk with God in learning more about who He is through your songs. I will totally be checking out the charts and bringing the songs into our youth group’s worship time! Thanks again 🙂
Thanks, Izzi! Actually, that’s what I guessed the clap was for. I wanted to give you guys the chance to explain it in the service because most of the camp had noticed and didn’t understand. I was a part of a ministry in Memphis that did something similar, but it was just a raising of hands so it wasn’t as loud. But thanks for sharing your story.
I just wanted to say I loved your sing new every morning and god has moved in me this week by realizing that not everything is about me and god was calling me to sponsor a child with compassion international and to look more into student life I really think my calling is missions
I have been singing New Every Morning since I left! Thanks for spending the week with us as our worship leader. The songs drew me closer to God. I have learned this week that I am being called to ministry to children, most likely through elementary education. God moved through my student ministry at North Metro. We grew closer as a family and had many new starts.
God Bless!
I came into camp this week excited and eager to learn new things. I was not expecting to learn as much as I did. There is so much in life that I am thankful for, but I realized how much more I have to be thankful for. To top it off, God answered a prayer that I have been praying for a long time now. He showed me the right path for my life, where He wants me, and amazingly enough- it is to share my faith through Music Education (secondary). I finally understood all that I had questioned, and though it terrified me at first, I am confident through Him. This year was my last year at camp, but I am so excited at what the Lord can do through me when I go to college next year! God Bless you all, and be AUDACTIOUS! <3
Hi, I went to student life camp this week, and I really enjoyed the worship songs. New every morning has been stuck in my head since we left! (which, by the way, I think has a really good message) I grew pretty close to my family group, and even closer to God because Of how much they helped me understand more. Thank you so much and I’ll see you next year!
I was one of the staffers back stage this week and just wanted to say that y’all rocked it! Unbelievable worship. very convicting and motivating. Just wanted to say that I appreciate what y’all are doing and keep rockin for Jesus.
This was my third year going to camp, every year before this year was just a time to hang out with friends but this year God really spoke to me and He is telling me what I need to do. God really moved in me this week and through my church too.
Thanks for the Amazing Worship, I love that you made it about completely about God and not about you!
We(3 adults and 9 kids) came to Durango from Archibald Louisiana this past week. God really spoke to our group. 2 trusted Christ as their Savior and we all were drawn closer to God. The worship services were awesome. Thanks for the great music. The kids shared this morning at our church and we sang New Every Morning, acappella.
What verse inspired this song?
The chorus is from Lamentations 3:22-23
Thank you guys for giving me the most unique worship experience I have ever had in my life. You challenged me to worship in a way I had never thought possible and although I came away from camp utterly confused about God’s calling for my life, I know only God could make what happened this week possible. I wanted to thank each of the band members for sharing your time with my family group and I and for listening and letting a silly high schooler from a small town have the chance to play in front of you. Please keep letting God use you to change lives 🙂
i absolutley loved having yall play at camp this year! all of the songs really spoke to me and i really took a turn in my walk with Christ! i am so glad yall were there to give me that slap in the face for me to notice that i wasnt listening to the music i should be! i wiped out all of the bad music i had and bought about 50 good songs that i should listen to! thank yall for all of the worship, it was amazing!
