Well, this is turning into a tough record. Not for us, but for our loved ones. Scott is the engineer, and the first week his wife was in the hospital. Last week, my kid had the flu. Now this week, Paul, the producer is married to Robin. And last night he had to leave the studio to take her to the hospital. She thought she had broken her elbow, and i haven’t talked to paul since then to get the official update. And Aislynn, at the label, had her car broken into. So please be praying not only for us, but for those attached to our lives as well.
Yesterday was good. We put bass on the last song, Love Your Neighbor. Then we pulled everything from tape into pro tools. I love the sound of analog. Sounds great.
Today is a singing day. So be praying for my voice as we try to knock out all the vocals this week. Time to get warmed up and get to work.

There must be some awesome things God’s going to do through the new record. Or else the devil would not be fighting so hard. Praying for everyone involved and your families. Can’t wait to hear this one.
Praying for God to give you all and those connected to you supernatural strength and protection! Samples??? Can we have any samples of the new record??? Please?
Todd – So your tweet said you were working on the vocals for “You Are Good.” It certainly doesn’t seem a random coincidence that you/your team might face a little more adversity relative to that. There’s something about praising in the storm that gives power to those words. I can only imagine that will come through in a great way when the work is eventually released.
I know a few Christians who have experienced similar scenarios in the past 2 or 3 weeks – me and mine included. As I was driving this week, I passed a digital billboard that flashed a hopeful sign right at me that I’ll pass along to you. It read “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.”
It meant something to me as our week had included the flu for myself and my son, 3 hospital trips, including the one for a fracture. That was really just part of it. A tough week to experience as a single parent.
I’ll share just part of what God gave me in the midst of the mess –
———-
In the crucible, remember
It’s all about the blood and timbers (or- the sacrifice; the blood&timbers)
the lamb of love that wholly rendered
the sin of all mankind
A Saviors pure selfless surrender
And by His grace, not my endeavor
Sin and offense redeemed forever
Oh glorious gift divine
Yielding my all, this simple vessel
Unto your course, my bidding Master
And rapt in peace, your loyal servant
That I may grow in grace.

I would never have thought to write that day had someone not mentioned to me earlier about how so many hymns were penned during times of adversity, grief or discouragement.
Have been in prayer for you and yours. Might ask the same as my son is scheduled for surgery this Friday. And still He is good !!!!!!!!!
Circle the wagons and stay in faith. In peace, theresa

Yikes, Todd. Sounds like the Enemy’s been on the prowl. I’m going to pray against any more of that!
