I was at Centrifuge Ridgecrest this week and was profoundly touched by the Friday night worship challenge to worship God opposite the way you’re used to worshiping. Thank you so much for your humble yet powerful leading of worship. God bless you and your ministry! Should out to the members of your band! Thanks for all yall do! PS. Thanks for leading us in “Grace like Rain” as well. My students were especially blessed.
Todd – thanks for an amazing week of praise, worship and discovery of the JOY of crying, sighing, praying, singing, blubbering, hugging, and living in the Living Jesus! You and Matt taught us and touched us with your honesty and your deep desire to follow Christ and share the glory of our Father. I was a family group leader (first time ever) and after 55 years of struggling with God I discovered what Faith really is. Stripped of all knowing, devoid of all aspirations, left alone and empty as a pail of water turned over; only faith in Christ opened that narrow gate to the great all-sufficient fullness of God’s love. Wow! What a simple thing Faith is, but how difficult it seems. God Bless you and Matt for making it clearer!
Love ya!
Thank You so much for the amazing week at Centrifuge Ridgecrest this week. I was truly touched everyday. Especially Wednesday night. You have a wonderful voice and my best goes out to you and your band. I really enjoyed you leading us in Worship. I went out of my comfort zone Friday night. You most certainly helped turn my life back around the right way to God. Thank you again for everything! God bless you.
I was greatly blessed friday night at Centrifuge camp, when i worshipped in the most uncomfortable, yet most emotional and invigorating way possible. And Grace Like Rain…haha i’m the dude who asked you that day at lunch, “is there any room at this camp for grace like rain?” haha so glad you were called to play it. and i would really love the chords to “dance with me”. can’t seem to find them
Where can I get the version of Your Great Name the way you did it? It was awesome!
Is there a recording of Todd’s cover of John Mark McMillan’s “How He Loves?” I saw him do that song in concert in Cary, NC last fall. It’s my favorite song ever and Todd is my favorite singer, so the two combined equals awesome. Not sure if a recording exists yet?
I agree with Jace, love your version of Your Great Name, in fact would love a compilation of all the songs you guys did at camp this year and other covers you like to do. There’s something about your voice and the way you guys play together that brings so much more depth and richness to songs I hear on the radio – maybe it’s just more soulfu less pop feelingl. Don’t know if its possible….
Thanks!
Hey I was just wondering what is the name to that song with the woah part in it and where can I find it to get it?
I was also at the Ridgecrest fuge camp.
i love the song dance with me it is AMAZING<3
I just went this last week and I greatly appriciate ( spelled wrong) you and the woship you touched so many peoples in my group!!!! Everyone was getting into the music and a big part of this caused 2 kids to get saved in my group and one to get recommitted!! I loved the damce with me song it was so touching!!! the thing i didn’t like is that you told us to shut up!! that is not the thing to do as a christan leader!! That stunned a lot of people!!! And instead of doing oppisitte your there to worship not be quiet!! Like the preacher said sing loud for it is music to gods ears!!!! Well besides that you did awesome and thanks for the autgraph!!!
Is there any way we can get recordings of all these songs you did at fuge? Besides their normal artists?
Hey Melanie, so what was going on that prompted the shut up? Worship takes many forms and in the body of Christ we have to learn to recognize and honor what others need at any given moment. Loud is good and fun, but God can hear whisphers too, and sometimes maybe that’s what others need to be able to hear their own hearts and to hear God.
Glad you had a great time and God Bless YOU
🙂
Thanks for posting the names of the songs. There are a few I’ve never heard and I’m glad I got to. I’m summer staff for Ridgecrest and have the privilege of coming to the Fuge services. Thanks for your heart of worship and for reminding us all what worship is about, coming to meet with Christ.
I have a high standard I abide by for choosing reading material, especially online. Your article met my standards then flew right by them. You’ve written a great article with loads of great informational content.
